We Couldn’t Do It Without Our Volunteers!
Radnor Hunt Horse Trials are pleased to be a part of the USEA Volunteer Incentive Program for our volunteer scheduling.
Since the first Radnor Hunt Horse Trials were held in 1972, volunteers have ensured the event’s success. Whether welcoming competitors or judging cross-country jumping, our volunteers have sustained the rich heritage of the Radnor Hunt Horse Trials. Volunteers will be provided with lunch and snacks.
Volunteer opportunities are posted on eventingvolunteers.com. Just click on “I’m a Volunteer” and Radnor Hunt Horse Trails under the list of Area II Events. Signing up is easy!
If you have any other questions, please text Susan Hodge at 562-760-9667 or by email at susanhodge@gmail.com.
Please note, to avoid distractions during assignments, we ask volunteers not to bring their dogs.
Do I need to have experience to volunteer?
Not necessarily — some roles require prior experience but others just require a willing attitude. You will find a job description and any experience requirements listed for each role on the volunteer portal.
What else do I need to know about volunteering for the Radnor Hunt Horse Trials?
If you’re not available on Saturday, October 11th you can help us prepare for the event on Friday, October 10th. There are several volunteer opportunities that don’t require equestrian experience. Volunteers should expect to commit to a half-day for each position and some roles require an early morning briefing.
